Xylan is a linear polymer of β-D-xylopyranosyl units linked by 1-4-glycosidic bonds. The enzymatic hydrolysis of xylan is one of the most important industrial applications of this polysaccharide. This research was mainly based on isolation of fungi from soil. We found fungi which degraded the cellulose. Moreover, xylan derivatives are frequently used to induce the production of xylanases by microorganisms using either solid-state or submerged fermentation. The strains are isolated from the Bakrol region of Anand, Gujarat. All the strains are named as respectively N1, N2, N7, N10, N14, NBNB, NBTry, Asp and 2b strains. All the strains are checked for the production of Xylanase by observing the zone of hydrolysis on basal salt medium by growing these strains under the submerged condition....
